The Mount Baker Club
has adopted the Mt. Baker Hwy, between mile markers
37-39. Pete Chorney led the effort for the club to
pick up litter twice a year on these two miles.
Club members Pete Chorney, Sara Purviance, and Mel
Monkelis picked up almost 50 lbs of litter on Saturday,

Short Notice
Outings |
More and better
than ever.
Don't let the short days, and wet weather of the fall
and winter keep you homebound. Members take advantage of
breaks in the weather, matching outings to prevailing
conditions. See a sampling of some of the many outings
that our members have experienced and enjoyed in just
the last few weeks at the
NW Trails Blog. |

Mission of the Mount Baker Club
Welcome to the Mount Baker Club. For over 90 years our all volunteer organization has served the Whatcom County region.
We invite you to join us and participate in our many activities. Our purpose is to provide regular opportunities for hiking, biking, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, canoeing, and kayaking, as well as, monthly social activities. We also promote the conservation of recreational areas which are of interest to the club's members. A great way to meet new friends and explore the area. All events and activities are open to the public at no charge.
