Mount Baker Club members embraced their 2nd opportunity to hike above Canyon Lake, through Old Growth Forest, for a possible view of the peaks of the Twin Sisters.  The Gate was open, and we were on the trail at about 9:45 in the morning.  New hikers to the club included Debbie, Cheryl, Pat, and Bob.  Bill, Alta, and Debbie lead the way on, as they were the quickest.
Pat and Cheryl enjoying the view and the lunch.  The trail lead through some Old Growth forest that was spectacularly green with tree and fern.
Jean, Sally, and Marjan laughing and eating.  The weather was clear and a little overcast till we reached the crest.  The sun then opened the clouds above us, but kept the Twin Sisters enshrouded in fog.
Noreko in her own thoughts. We were able to also find moments like this, and simply taking in the surroundings.
Mel, after lunch, and just taking it in. Everyone seemed to have a grand time, exploring side trails and yet aware of each other's presence.
Frank taking in the moment. Always forging ahead, Frank provided the eyes of the group.
Our reward, for only a few minutes, was a peek of the North and  South Twin Sisters.
